Settlement Systems: Power Plant, Electricity, and Survivor Jobs

How the base economy actually works — and what gates your progression.

How the base economy actually works — and what gates your progression.

  • The Power Plant is the master gate: its level sets your maximum hero level cap and unlocks higher-tier facilities, so it paces almost everything else.
  • The electricity/connection system speeds up production — connect your key production buildings to accelerate their output.
  • Survivors are your labor pool: hunters produce food, chefs cook meals that restore stamina, lumberjacks gather wood, and builders drive construction.
  • Construction and research run on queues that consume speed-ups — balance building upgrades against Power Plant progression instead of over-investing in one track.
  • Core resources are Wood, Food, and Steel/Stone, plus a premium currency (called Waypoints, and referred to as gems/diamonds in-game) used for pulls and speed.
  • Build a balanced foundation of resource buildings before chasing max Power Plant, so you can actually sustain the upgrades it unlocks.
