Star Trek Fleet Command tier list

Which ships are worth investing in right now — a launch-window meta snapshot.

By PC Game Pilot·Intermediate·~4 min·Updated 6 Jul 2026

Because STFC adds new hulls with almost every monthly update, the ship meta shifts constantly and any tier list is a snapshot. As a rough 2026 framing: S-tier is the current apex/isolytic endgame hulls (e.g. Titan-A, USS Voyager and the latest event ships that shred Apex Barrier); A-tier covers durable mainstays that stay useful across Ops levels (USS Enterprise, Vi'dar/Vi'dar Talios, Mantis); B-tier is early- to mid-game utility and specialists (USS Franklin, D'Vor, USS Discovery). Combat follows a rock-paper-scissors rule — Interceptors beat Battleships, Battleships beat Explorers, Explorers beat Interceptors — so the 'best' ship depends on target type, and officer crew synergy often matters more than the hull itself. Human review recommended before publishing hard rankings, as the live meta moves fast.

Top picks

  • USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) (A) — The hero explorer every commander chases early.
  • D'Vor (B) — The Ferengi miner that keeps your economy alive.
  • Vi'dar / Vi'dar Talios (A) — Borg-tech battleship that farms the Borg for you.
  • USS Franklin (B) — The versatile all-rounder you get early and keep forever.
  • Mantis (A) — A hostile-shredder that burns friend and foe alike.
  • USS Discovery (B) — Mycelial jump drive for lightning-fast warps.
