Your station and reputation choices quietly decide how fast — and how far — your fleet can grow.

  • Upgrade station buildings in a balanced way: the Shipyard unlocks new ships, the Research Lab unlocks permanent bonuses, and resource buildings feed everything.
  • Use the Research tree deliberately — mining, combat and economy nodes compound over time, so invest toward your playstyle.
  • The Refinery converts raw mined ore into refined materials you actually spend on upgrades — process it regularly.
  • Manage the three main factions (Federation, Klingon, Romulan): grinding reputation unlocks faction stores, ships and officers, but hostile-killing one faction lowers standing with it.
  • Gate your progression by resource tier (G3, G4, G5…) — each Ops band needs the matching resource grade, so build mining and refining capacity ahead of upgrades.
  • Events and daily/weekly goals (like Mining Monday) are a major, low-risk source of rewards — align your activity with the current event schedule.
  • Territory Capture and alliance features add a whole cooperative economy layer at higher Ops — coordinate with your alliance for shared bonuses.
