Zero Hour is a tactical FPS built around online, team-based action, unfolding across a range of locations in Bangladesh rendered at real-life scale rather than typical video game proportions, with resource management woven in. Drawing inspiration from other grounded tactical shooters, it aims for an authentic close-quarters CO-OP and team-versus-team experience. In multiplayer both sides fight to wipe out the other and complete objectives, with defenders protecting a bomb from being defused and keeping a hostage from being rescued, while attackers work to defuse that bomb or free the captive.
The tactical gameplay focuses on grounded 5v5 close-quarters combat in which every player fills a specific role. Attackers make use of shields, weapons and a planning table, while the opposing side relies on traps and gadgets to fortify their positions. The CO-OP mode supports larger operations that can be tackled solo or with a team of five, presenting map-specific objectives that must be completed before calling for extraction, and offering Regular or Hardcore difficulty settings that alter enemy reaction time and predictability. Blending action, FPS, simulation and strategy elements, Zero Hour delivers a deliberate, methodical tactical shooter on PC.
