Yet Another Zombie Survivors puts you on the offensive against the undead after a virus sweeps the world, but with humanity still refusing to surrender. Instead of cowering behind barricades, you make the zombie horde pay, and the game strips away complications like intricate controls or lengthy cutscenes so you can drop straight into the action. The characters you command aim and fire on their own, making this survivors-like loop welcoming to players of any experience level as you settle in and enjoy the escalating carnage.
Your squad grows through the customised choices you make while playing. You can spread across a varied set of perks and support skills or concentrate on a favourite character to reshape their gear and unlock ultimate abilities, commanding anything from a lone SWAT soldier to a full team of mercenaries wielding katanas, flamethrowers and rocket launchers. Permanent upgrades let you forge your squad exactly how you like, and you can reset your build at any point to try a new specialisation. You can even crank up the challenge by strengthening the virus, making the enemy faster and deadlier. As an action, casual, indie RPG hybrid on PC, it keeps the focus squarely on satisfying, fast-moving mayhem.
