Version 1.8 “Companions Make Home” expands the Homestead
A bigger housing system, cat companions and a new five-player domain headline the summer update.
Version 1.8, Companions Make Home, went live on 25 June 2026, built around an expanded Homestead system: rebuild the Blissful Retreat with working industries — farming, kiln, brewery, inn — that produce in real time, staffed by recruitable Retainer NPCs.
The update also added new cat companions with a bond-raising mechanic and a five-player Martial Path Domain mode across 20 floors on Normal and Hard — the latest in an accelerated seasonal cadence that also included 1.6 "Flows of Dreams" in April 2026.
