Developer Bugbear rebuilt its true-to-life physics simulation engine from the ground up to exploit modern hardware, and the result is heightened crash fidelity, more detailed component damage and a wide range of improvements throughout. The series' signature handling remains intact, paired with best-in-class car destruction and the chaotic, unpredictable moments the franchise is known for.

On the track you take part in intense head-to-head battles across high-speed circuits, obstacle-laden courses packed with jumps and intersections, and stages featuring oncoming traffic, or you can chase demolition domination in derby mode. During the Early Access period, the roster of tracks and arenas continues to grow. The cars themselves are deliberately battered and cobbled together rather than pristine supercars, each carrying its own history, and you can add to that story through customisation. More personalisation options are being introduced over the course of early access, opening up creative freedom as this PC racing game expands and refines its content.
