WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship builds its racing simulation around one of the most demanding motorsports on the planet, where drivers, co-drivers and technical crews must continually adapt to conquer changing surfaces in any weather, by day or by night. Central to this entry is a reworked dynamic weather system in which rain, snow and hailstorms genuinely affect the drive. Grip shifts across a stage, so each car needs tuning to suit the conditions, tyre selection and stock management become real decisions, and consulting your weather team for advice can make the difference between a clean run and disaster.
The solo campaign centres on a completely overhauled career mode, developed with input from actual WRC drivers, that goes far beyond the track. Between rallies you handle scheduling and activity planning, invest in research and development to strengthen your car, and recruit and manage a full staff of mechanics, engineers, medical and weather specialists, a financial director and a communication manager. Multiplayer brings back weekly challenges alongside eSports WRC for fiercely contested competition. With 50 teams, 14 rallies and over 100 special stages drawn from the 2019 season, this off-road racing and sports simulation delivers the largest amount of content the series had offered to that point on PC.
