About Windblown

Windblown poster

Windblown is a lightning-fast action roguelite from Motion Twin, the studio behind Dead Cells. You and your fellow innocent souls have lived peacefully in The Ark, a floating village orbiting the gigantic, deadly Vortex, but that calm existence is about to end as your cozy little island faces being devoured. Countless warriors known as the Leapers have already fallen fighting the Vortex's dreadful emissaries, and now it is your turn to save your kind or become cannon fodder in the attempt.

True to its name, the action moves like a bolt of lightning. You dash freely through vast, ever-changing islands in the sky where every run brims with secrets, finding your rhythm in relentless battles against the Vortex's Sentinels and bracing for oppressive bosses eager to chew you up. Because the islands shift each time, no two runs feel quite the same.

Progression comes through the memories of fallen warriors, which Leapers can absorb to unlock special powers and recraft powerful gear, opening up an ever-growing range of combinations and wild synergies. You equip up to two weapons, each with its own playstyle and hidden Alterattacks, then layer in passive Gifts, handy Trinkets, and droppable Magfishes to adapt on the fly. As an indie action game on PC, Windblown pairs speed with deep build variety.
