White Shadows is a cinematic puzzle-platformer in which you control a little Ravengirl fighting to escape a brutal dystopia built on oppression and violence, a society that places her at the very bottom of its rigid hierarchy. The city she hopes to flee is a vast network of towers rising out of post-catastrophe darkness toward the sky, and it is a perilous place to be.
Along the way she must slip past machinery designed to grind her to dust, leap across rickety infrastructure spanning the cavernous gloom, and evade guards ready to gun her down. Her journey carries her to the city's brightest heights and its darkest depths as she searches for her destiny among the last free people still alive. The striking architectural shapes and stunning monochrome art combine to create a place thick with atmosphere, where the lies of the elite are smeared across the walls and twisted entertainment keeps everyone in their place.
This indie adventure pairs a visually arresting, narratively rich dystopian world with varied puzzle-platforming, offering fresh scenarios that keep the challenges from growing stale. A personal, emotional story sits alongside pointed social critique, all delivered through a simple, intuitive control scheme that makes the experience easy to pick up on PC.
