We Happy Few follows a group of flawed, oddly likable people trying to break free from a life of forced cheer in Wellington Wells. Set in an alternate 1960s England where conformity rules, this action-adventure RPG asks you to either fight the drug-addled townsfolk or blend in among them, since few take kindly to anyone unwilling to play along with their unsettling version of normal.

The story unfolds through the interwoven paths of three quietly rebellious residents, each with distinct strengths and weaknesses, as they confront their pasts and step outside the town's artificially upbeat social order. Set against a retrofuturistic backdrop, the city hides a dark history waiting to be pieced together as you move between the three narratives.
