Wargame: European Escalation is an intense real-time strategy game that puts realism and tactical depth at the forefront, set against a Europe teetering on the edge of a third World War in the 1980s. Two opposing sides drawn from eight nations clash across the continent, and it falls to you to assemble your forces and lead them through a sprawling military campaign as the Cold War threatens to boil over into open conflict.

The scale here is enormous. With more than 350 distinct vehicle and unit models to draw from, you can field hundreds of tanks, helicopters, infantry squads, and more in battles that unfold across gigantic maps stretching as far as sixty square miles. The proprietary IRISZOOM technology delivers sweeping graphics and lets you shift smoothly between a broad strategic overview and close-up views of the action, making each engagement feel as spectacular as it is strategic. This indie simulation-strategy hybrid also offers a full multiplayer suite through the EugenNet service, where up to eight players can compete simultaneously in massive battles, form clans, organize matches, and climb the world rankings, giving the PC strategy experience plenty of staying power.
