Familiar musical themes return uncompressed and rebalanced, while modern conveniences such as health bars, larger unit selection, and hotkey indicators smooth over the rougher edges of the original strategy design. There is also a preservation angle for longtime fans of the Warcraft universe: unearthed concept art from 1994, including previously unseen pieces, accompanies the game, letting PC players appreciate the lore and history as it was first envisioned.
