About Volcanoids

Volcanoids is a base-building open-world survival shooter that swaps the usual static base for a steampunk drill. Alone or with up to three other crewmates, you explore an ever-changing volcanic island, expand your drillship and fight hostile machines to uncover what has been hiding deep underground. The mobile fortress at the center of everything sets it apart from more conventional survival games.

The island is seemingly abandoned yet cursed by persistent eruptions, and your drillship's ability to travel underground becomes essential for surviving them. As you weather the eruptions you discover new parts of the island, gather resources and uncover secrets. Standing in your way are hostile mining robots of all shapes and sizes that roam both the surface and the depths, and you can capture any of their useful resources and technology while destroying the rest.

Crafting, upgrading and automation form the backbone of progression. The drillship is your very own mobile fortress, customizable inside and out through the building system, and advancing through technology tiers lets you upgrade, expand, automate and weaponize its different parts. Blending action, adventure, FPS, indie and simulation on PC, it turns a roving mechanical stronghold into the key to survival.
