About Valheim

Valheim is a brutal exploration and survival game for one to ten players, set in a procedurally generated world drawn from Norse mythology. You take on the role of a fallen viking tasked with proving yourself to Odin, crafting powerful weapons, raising longhouses and slaying mighty foes across the tenth world. Every region hides its own mysteries, distinct enemies, resources to gather and secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Building is a major pursuit. You raise viking longhouses and fortified bases that offer respite from the dangers outside, customizing structures inside and out with a detailed system and progressing through building tiers to upgrade, expand and defend. Survival runs alongside it, demanding that you gather materials to craft weapons, armor, tools, ships and defenses, grow crops, prepare food, brew meads and potions, and steadily unlock new recipes and blueprints as you topple ever tougher bosses.

Sailing the open seas in search of unknown lands and battling bloodthirsty monsters gives the adventure its viking spirit. Playable alone or with up to ten players on player-hosted dedicated servers, this action, adventure, indie RPG on PC offers a massive world where each biome feels immersive and distinct and enemies scale in difficulty as you push deeper.
