Unrailed 2: Back on Track raises the stakes of chaotic track-building multiplayer, both locally and online, as you team up with friends to lay rails across procedurally generated worlds while the train keeps rolling. There is more freedom than ever, but also more pressure, since you must think fast and clear each new obstacle before your locomotive turns into a trainwreck.
Progress feels increasingly meaningful with each excursion. New rewards and permanent upgrades grant characters gameplay-modifying abilities, while fresh engines, wagons and extensions unlock over time, letting you build and experiment with countless train configurations. Every lost locomotive becomes a chance to rebuild and get back on track. The game currently offers six biomes, each with unique mechanics and a boss to defeat, plus stations for adding wagons and cartridges that grant new abilities.
Creativity extends beyond the tracks through the all-new Terrain Conductor mode, which lets you design custom maps and share them with the community. Blending action, casual, indie, simulation and strategy on PC, it is a cooperative test of coordination where quick thinking and teamwork keep the train alive.
