About UBOAT

UBOAT poster

UBOAT reframes the submarine simulator as something closer to a survival sandbox, casting you in the role of a German crew scraping through the dangers of the Second World War. Rather than piloting the vessel directly, you command the sailors who keep it running, and the boat itself doubles as both their shelter and, when things go wrong, their tomb.

Crew management sits at the heart of the experience. You have to watch over your men's physical condition and their state of mind, because exhausted, underfed and demoralized sailors have little hope of surviving a firefight, let alone a full engagement. Every decision ripples through morale and readiness, tying the fate of the boat directly to the people aboard it.

Blending action, strategy and indie sensibilities into a demanding simulation, this PC title leans on tension and human vulnerability more than raw spectacle. It is a war story told from the cramped confines of a hull, where staying alive is never guaranteed and each patrol carries the weight of real consequence.
