Tunche is a charming, hand-drawn beat-'em-up with hack-and-slash combat and roguelike elements, set amid the breathtaking Amazonian forests. You travel through four distinct worlds, each populated with its own unique enemies, bosses, challenges, and stories, uncovering the mystery of the forest and the secrets of Tunche as you press deeper into the jungle.
The game supports both solo play and cooperative sessions, letting you team up with as many as three friends in local co-op to take on the adventure together. Part of its appeal lies in finding a playstyle that suits you, and it offers five unique characters to that end: Rumi the sorceress, Pancho the musician, Qaru the bird boy, Nayra the warrior, and even Hat Kid from the acclaimed A Hat In Time, each bringing a different flavour to the fight.
Progression comes through mastering skills and ultimate abilities, which you learn in order to overcome the evil beasts of the Amazon and push further into the story with each playthrough. That roguelike loop of repeated runs and growing power gives the action lasting depth. For PC players who enjoy indie action-adventure arcade brawlers with a strong artistic identity, Tunche delivers a colourful and combative jungle journey.
