TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children is the first season of a turn-based strategy SRPG set in the world of Troubleshooter. It centres on Valhalla, an unstable free-trading nation founded by three world powers after a great war, where the ban on any army leaves public order permanently shaky. After ten years of turmoil, the government makes a bold move to bring the rising crime under control.
That decision grants civilians the right to investigate and arrest criminals, and the people who take up the role come to be known as Troubleshooters. Another decade on, a twenty-year-old named Albus becomes an official Troubleshooter, starting his company alone before gathering a growing roster of colleagues. Each new member carries their own motivations and backstory, and you experience a wide variety of missions across Valhalla through their intertwined stories.
The game leans hard into character-driven depth, giving every character their own unique class with the ability to rank up into an upper class as their role expands. With over 800 masteries plus more than 400 additional masteries to develop, the system offers enormous room for customisation. For PC fans of strategy, RPG, and casual indie SRPGs, this is a content-rich, story-heavy tactical experience.
