Torque Drift 2 bills itself as more than just a drift game, casting players into an immersive motorsport experience set in an alternate-reality modern-day Japan, the birthplace of drifting. Built on the foundations of the original Torque Drift and shaped by years of community feedback, it aims to capture the vibrant, diverse culture surrounding drifting motorsports, and it arrives in Early Access with frequent updates planned in close communication with players.

At its core this is a skill-based racing and simulation title set in a fictional modern-day Japanese city, defined by a play-your-way philosophy. Extensive customization spans vehicles, profiles, avatars and garages, while linear and open environments, a suite of player creation tools and support for both single and multiplayer keep the options broad. The street scene captures much of the atmosphere: players gather in parking lots to show off modified cars for rep, or throw down in ad hoc drift battles through the hills and back streets. There, horsepower alone will not save you, since the tight mountain passes demand the fine control that gives this PC racer its edge.
