About Tokyo Xtreme Racer

Tokyo Xtreme Racer poster

Tokyo Xtreme Racer is a racing game set in a sealed-off future Tokyo, where you tune and customize your cars and chase the fastest speeds along the highways threading through the city, all with the goal of reaching the top. You pilot real vehicles across meticulously recreated courses, square off against powerful rivals, slip through traffic, and throw yourself into spirit-wracking battles that give the series its distinctive appeal.

What sets it apart is the SP Battle, or Spirit Point Battle. Unlike a standard race, this system revolves around Spirit Points, a numeric measure of a driver's willpower. Winning isn't only about raw speed; you have to master the mind games and break your opponent's resolve, adding a psychological edge to every duel on the road.

The setting leans on authenticity, faithfully reproducing the Shuto Expressway so that its complex twists and dramatic elevation changes deliver an adrenaline-charged, close-to-real racing experience through the Tokyo night. Countless rivals with mysterious charm await, each race beginning with a flash of headlights as you confront drivers with distinctive cars and bold styles. The game also supports a range of racing wheels, including models from Fanatec, HORI, Logitech G, MOZA, and Thrustmaster, making it a strong pick for wheel enthusiasts on PC.
