The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a third-person asymmetrical horror experience based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 horror film. You take on the role of either one of the notorious Slaughter family or one of their intended victims, setting up a tense contest between hunters and hunted rooted in the movie's macabre legacy.
Playing as a victim, survival comes down to wits and stealth. You must stay out of the Family's reach while searching for the tools needed to work toward your eventual freedom, always aware that a single misstep could give you away. Playing on the other side, Slaughter Family members seek out, track down, and try to stop their guests before anyone can escape.
The game frames the whole thing as a test of whether players truly have what it takes to survive, letting you experience the mad and macabre for yourself. As an action-driven indie horror title on PC, it channels the dread of its source material into a multiplayer struggle where every match asks whether you will make it out or fall to the family that made the film infamous.
