About The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV is an RPG that stages the ultimate class reunion, boasting the largest roster in the series to that point. Heroes gather from every corner as Class VII joins forces with Crossbell's Special Support Section and even the champions of Liberl, all rallying toward a single desperate cause.

The story opens with the Erebonian Empire teetering on the edge of all-out war. Set shortly after the close of Trails of Cold Steel III, it finds the heroes of Class VII confronting the full might of an Empire bent on domination, made worse by the disappearance of their instructor and hero of the civil war, Rean Schwarzer. The students, both new and returning, must unite with warriors from across the continent to give the world its only chance of being spared total destruction.

Combat builds on the polished foundation of the series with new and returning systems, including the power to summon giant mechs for devastating strikes, an Auto Battle option, and the mighty Orbal magic of Lost Arts that can swing a battle's momentum. Between the epic clashes, you can unwind with mini-games ranging from returning favorites like Vantage Master, fishing, and puzzles to new diversions such as Poker, Blackjack, and the Horror Coaster, rounding out this sprawling PC RPG.
