About The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon

The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon is an action RPG set against the looming end of the Zemurian continent, arriving just as humanity prepares its first venture into space. An unexpected invitation from Marduk to join a high-tech training exercise draws Van Arkride, the Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham toward secrets buried at the heart of Zemuria. Though their routes split apart, all three chase the same question of what waits past the horizon.

The adventure unfolds across the Calvard Republic, where you explore detailed locations, deepen ties with your allies, and follow three story paths that weave together. Building on the battle system from Trails through Daybreak, the game gives you more choice than ever in both Field and Command Battles. You can fight through the fast Field Battle mode, then switch to turn-based Command Battles to plan your strikes with care.

Several new systems expand your options in combat. Shard Commands hand you fresh tactical power, while S-Boosts grant party-wide benefits, and every character and holo core carries unique Shard Commands worth exploiting. Certain figures push things further still, such as Van and his ability to transform into the Grendel, adding another layer to this long-running RPG series on PC.
