About The Gold River Project

The Gold River Project poster

The Gold River Project drops you and your friends into an epic camping survival adventure across one of the largest private nature reserves in the Pacific Northwest. Your goal is to escape a grueling experiment, all while being watched, studied, and manipulated at every turn. A chartered float plane leaves you beside beautiful lakes where you can kayak, hike gorgeous trails, and make camp, either solo or with up to four friends, giving the setup a deceptively peaceful start.

What begins as a one-week trip stretches into several as you realize your guide isn't coming back. Deserted and trapped, you become an unwilling lab rat in an artificial environment, and survival means managing health, hydration, hunger, fatigue, and temperature. You'll lean on your survival skills, earn badges as you learn new ones, and try to outlast both nature and your captors while uncovering what lies beneath the surface.

The world shifts with time through evolving seasons, from the abundance of summer to the dying colors of fall and the frozen quiet of winter, forcing you to adapt as conditions grow harsher. A mysterious barrier known as The Wall divides the forest, adding to the intrigue. Blending adventure, casual, and simulation elements, this PC survival experience rewards both cooperation and curiosity.
