The Forgotten City sends you 2,000 years into the past to relive the final days of a cursed Roman city where a single person's sin dooms everyone. Combat exists as an option, but violence will only carry you so far here. The real path forward lies in questioning an intertwined community of colorful characters, cleverly exploiting a time loop, and making difficult moral choices, all in the hope of solving an epic mystery where your decisions genuinely matter and the fate of the city rests in your hands.

The setting is an open-world ancient Roman city rendered with historically authentic art, architecture, costumes, and customs, giving the adventure a strong sense of place.
