The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is a standalone, branching cinematic horror game that offers both single-player and multiplayer modes as part of this intense anthology series. It tells a self-contained story that can be enjoyed on its own, with your choices steering where the nightmare leads.

The plot centers on four college students and their professor who become stranded in the abandoned town of Little Hope. Trapped by an impenetrable fog, they struggle to escape while enduring terrifying visions from the past, and they must uncover the motivation behind these apparitions before the dark forces at work drag each of their souls to hell. Those visions are haunted by the events of the seventeenth-century Andover Witch Trials, giving the horror a rooted, historical dread.

Throughout, the group is relentlessly pursued through the fog by hideous apparitions they must escape. As with the rest of the anthology, the experience is designed for shared play, letting you take on the story online with a friend or gather up to five friends together offline. With its ominous invitation to abandon hope, it delivers a chilling branching adventure on PC.
