About The Anacrusis

The Anacrusis is a four-player cooperative first-person shooter set aboard a massive starship stranded at the far edge of explored space. You team up with friends for an endlessly replayable fight against alien hordes, unlocking perks, weapons, and new ways to play that you can share with your squad as you go.

What keeps each run fresh is the AI Driver, which controls every aspect of a session, spawning enemies, directing bosses, and placing every weapon, gadget, and health kit. Because of this, you never fight the same battle twice, and the system tailors the challenge to your skill level while engineering the kind of dramatic, unpredictable moments you will want to tell your friends about afterward.

Combat leans into a fantastical arsenal of classic sci-fi weaponry. You can buy time with a stasis grenade, drop a shield grenade for instant cover while you heal, revive teammates with the Respawner, or throw caution aside and torch friend and foe alike with a laser rifle. Progression flows from matter compilers scattered across the ship, which grant access to dozens of perks that change how you play and can be stacked into powerful combinations. As an indie FPS, it makes cooperative chaos its main attraction on PC.
