About The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is a brand-new action RPG from the creators of OCTOPATH TRAVELER and BRAVELY DEFAULT, marrying their signature HD-2D visuals with real-time action-adventure gameplay for the first time. It follows the adventurer Elliot and his fairy companion Faie as they set out across four ages on a thousand-year mission.

Combat is intuitive and rewarding, built around action-based battles supported by Faie's strategic fairy magic. You can arm Elliot with up to two of seven weapon types at once to fight the beast tribes overrunning the continent, while Faie's magic proves useful both for clearing enemies and for solving the puzzles that block your path. The central quest is to lift a curse on Princess Heuria of Huther, sending Elliot and Faie through the Doorway of Time to different periods in history.

Those four ages give the journey its structure: Elliot's own Age of Safekeeping, the harsh Age of Reconstruction, the prosperous Age of Magic at humanity's height, and the Age of Budding at the dawn of human civilization, all shadowed by a terrible threat. Personalization runs deep through the Magicite system, which lets you customize Elliot's weapons with different combinations found on the journey, encouraging experimentation as you play this action-adventure RPG on PC.
