About Tacoma

Tacoma poster

Tacoma is a richly layered story experience set aboard a space station of the same name, where six crewmembers once lived and worked, forming relationships and facing love, loss, and crisis together. Your role is that of an interactive investigator, uncovering not just what happened to these people but what makes them who they are. The narrative reaches you through a series of fully voiced and animated interactive AR scenes that immerse you in the events aboard the station.

What sets it apart is its groundbreaking multi-path story system. In each section of the station you are surrounded by digital representations of crewmembers pursuing parallel story threads that diverge, recombine, and split off again. You can rewind, fast-forward, and move freely through these scenes' chronologies as they swirl around you, letting your interactive tools reveal a tightly knotted narrative from every angle and in every detail.

The gameworld invites deep interaction, too. You explore Tacoma Station both physically and digitally, unlocking doors and drawers to find meaningful objects, notes, and artifacts while combing through the crew's digital communications and private thoughts. Set in the year 2088, it paints a vision of humanity's expansion into low-Earth orbit and beyond, grounded in a deeply imagined speculative future. An indie adventure, it offers PC players a thoughtful, exploration-driven mystery about the people who lived among the stars.
