About Strategic Mind: Spectre of Communism

Strategic Mind: Spectre of Communism poster

Strategic Mind: Spectre of Communism is a story-driven turn-based strategy set in the World War II era, casting you as the leader of the USSR's armed forces staging a world communist revolution. It combines refined wargame mechanics, narrative-rich gameplay and modern 3D graphics, opening with a nod to Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto before plunging you into the sweep of the era.

The campaign mixes many historical operations and events with a number of alternate-history moments, all assembled with care by a team passionate about WW2 history. Cinematics play before and after each operation to make you feel like a genuine participant in these epochal events, while numerous primary and secondary objectives let you explore each battle in depth. The plot-driven gameplay features historical figures including Joseph Stalin, Georgy Zhukov, Vyacheslav Molotov, Kliment Voroshilov, Lavrentiy Beria, Aleksandr Vasilevsky and Konstantin Rokossovsky.

This is the third installment in the Strategic Mind line. The first, Strategic Mind: The Pacific, focused on naval warfare in the Pacific War, and the second, Strategic Mind: Blitzkrieg, told the European story from the German side. Now it's the Soviet perspective's turn, making Spectre of Communism a substantial simulation and strategy experience for WW2 enthusiasts on PC.
