About Stormworks: Build and Rescue

Stormworks: Build and Rescue is a physics-driven simulation where you design, construct and pilot your own air and sea rescue service. It hands you a rich playground of block-based, programmable vehicles that you can steer into fierce oceanic storms, planning and carrying out dramatic rescues across a range of demanding crisis scenarios. Creations and missions can be exported and shared with other players through the Steam Workshop.

The game offers distinct ways to play. Custom Creative Mode strips away survival and realism constraints, handing you dozens of tools so your imagination can run free, whether you want to build faithful scale replicas of real-world machines or wildly ambitious contraptions of your own. It's built for players who value unrestricted engineering above all else.

Career Survival mode, by contrast, focuses on progression and story. You start a humble search-and-rescue operation and grow it to cover the entire Stormworks map, managing finances, build space and your own safety while completing missions that fund larger vehicles and new land bases. Additional survival difficulty options layer on further challenge, making this simulation as relaxed or as punishing as you want on PC while you channel your inner hero.
