State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition is an open-world survival-fantasy set just after the zombie apocalypse, where your small community of survivors works to rebuild a corner of civilization and you make every decision about how that happens. On PC it blends action, simulation, and strategy into a sandbox where each choice, from who you recruit to where you settle, carries real weight.

The game hands you an unusually broad set of decisions. You decide who joins your team, where to establish your base, how to fortify and upgrade it, and when it is time to move on to greener pastures. You choose which survivor to send on a scavenging run for food and ammo, who fights off zombies attacking your home, and how to handle the other people who drift into your town, whether by welcoming them or aggressively defending your territory. Because every character has their own skills and traits, and the challenges shift from game to game, no two communities ever play out the same way.

Co-op multiplayer support lets you visit friends' communities to help them through a rough patch and bring rewards back to your own. Alternate modes round out the package, including a full 10-hour narrative campaign and a four-player "siege defense" mode built around relentless zombie-slaughtering.
