About StarRupture

StarRupture drops you onto a mysterious planet in an ever-changing open world torn apart by recurring cataclysms, blending action, adventure, indie sensibilities, and industrial simulation on PC. The pitch pulls in three directions at once: explore a strange and beautiful world, build a complex industrial system, and fight off hordes of alien monsters to defend your base and survive, whether alone or alongside friends.

Exploration rewards curiosity. This vast, resource-rich world is full of places and secrets to uncover, a constantly reborn landscape whose dangerous beauty comes from being repeatedly ripped apart and remade by cataclysms. As you search, mine, and process resources, you develop an increasingly complex industrial system and unlock new technologies that help you and your base endure the planet's harsh conditions.

Survival is never guaranteed, because the planet keeps finding new ways to test you. Extreme temperatures are only the beginning; you must also be ready to defend yourself, your team, and your base against a horde of aggressive alien creatures. Everything you encounter has to be experienced and survived, and the whole ordeal can be tackled solo or in a group of up to four friends. StarRupture frames its factory-building and combat around a world that is always waiting, and always shifting, for those willing to discover it.
