About Starminer

Starminer poster

Starminer sets your pulse racing as you pilot a 150,000-ton warship between asteroids in the vacuum of space, all in real time and under fully simulated physics. This action-driven blend of RPG, simulation, and strategy for PC hands you a fleet to build piece by piece and module by module, constantly balancing material requirements against power, tonnage, and size to squeeze out maximum efficiency.

The core decisions are yours to make. You might assemble a large number of smaller, nimbler vessels, or double down on a single massive station bristling with firepower. Progress comes from harvesting and processing valuable materials from asteroids, whether to pad your profit margins or to fuel the maintenance and expansion of your own mercenary fleet as you take on missions for the sector's highest bidders. Research unlocks new modules and tools, and building link gates opens access to fresh riches in new sectors of space.

There is a catch to unchecked ambition, though. The more you mine, the more you build, and the greedier you become, the higher your heat signature climbs. Once it reaches critical levels, the aliens will detect you, and you will have to defend your fleet at all costs using the defense systems and ships of your own design. Starminer turns industrial expansion into a genuine risk, rewarding both efficiency and a willingness to fight for what you have built.
