Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown is a story-driven survival strategy game that places the fate of the iconic starship squarely in your hands. Set after the U.S.S. Voyager is forcefully thrown into the Delta Quadrant, it asks you to take the helm, manage the ship and its resources, and make the difficult decisions that will determine whether the crew ever makes it home. This indie title leans on tension and consequence rather than spectacle.
Much of its appeal lies in exploring "what if?" scenarios drawn from the show's premise. What might have happened had Captain Janeway chosen differently, had a key crew member walked another path, or had the crew embraced Borg technology to boost their odds of survival? The game lets you shape Voyager's journey however you see fit, taking risky gambits or playing it safe, favoring diplomacy or letting the phasers do the talking, and researching technologies the crew once shunned, always with consequences to answer for.
Roguelike elements keep each attempt fresh, so every run throws up different situations, and even iconic characters can meet an early end if you fail to react in time. Beneath the narrative choices sits deep ship management and research, demanding careful stewardship of a vessel far from home. Note that the demo is English only, while the full version will add localization, partial voice over, and updated audio.
