Space Haven sends you and a ragtag crew of civilians out into the cosmos in search of a new home, and it hands you near-total control over how you get there. This spaceship colony sim lets you build vessels tile by tile, laying down every piece of hull, wall, door, and facility exactly where you want, so your ship can be sleek and symmetrical or a delightfully lopsided contraption. Every facility serves a real purpose, from beds and toilets to arcade machines that lift the crew's spirits.
Keeping people alive means minding the details. You balance oxygen and CO2 levels by building life support modules, install scrubbers to purge the hazardous gases released by certain facilities and explosions, and set up thermal regulators and power nodes to manage temperature and distribute energy across the ship. Comfort matters too, since crew members react to their surroundings, resenting a bed placed beside a noisy ship core or thanking you for small pleasures.
Beyond your own vessel lies a universe to explore, full of other space-faring groups to encounter and resources to gather. Blending indie, RPG, simulation, and strategy elements, Space Haven gives PC players a demanding but flexible sandbox where managing needs, moods, and life support is as important as charting a course to somewhere safe.
