About Sons Of The Forest

Sons Of The Forest comes from the makers of The Forest and delivers an entirely new open-world survival horror simulator built for solo play or co-op with friends. Sent to a remote island to track down a missing billionaire, you instead land in a cannibal-infested nightmare where crafting, building, and sheer persistence are the only things keeping you alive. It is a survival horror experience with real teeth, blending action, adventure, and simulation on PC.

What sets it apart is how much freedom it hands you. There are no NPCs barking orders or forcing missions on you, so where you go and how you survive is entirely your call. You break sticks to start fires, swing an axe to carve windows and floors from the terrain, and build whatever you please, from a modest cabin to a sprawling seaside compound. Combat pits you against a range of mutated creatures, some eerily humanlike and others utterly alien, using pistols, axes, stun batons, and more to protect yourself and those you care about.

Changing seasons keep the pressure on. You pluck fresh salmon from streams in spring and summer and stockpile meat for winter, because as the cold sets in and resources grow scarce, you are far from the only hungry thing on the island hunting for a meal.
