About Slime Rancher

Slime Rancher is a charming, first-person sandbox experience that casts you as Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky young rancher who leaves Earth behind for a life a thousand light years away on the Far, Far Range. Renowned rancher Hobson Twillgers has passed his ranch on to you, and your task is to get it up and running again, uncover the secrets hidden across this mysterious planet, and dominate the Plort Market.

Each day brings new challenges and risky opportunities as you work to build a fortune through slime ranching. You collect colorful slimes, grow crops, harvest resources, and explore untamed wilds using your all-purpose vacpack. Along the way you raise chickadoos to feed your hungry slimes, complete daily requests from other ranchers for bonus rewards, and earn money to upgrade your vacpack, build more corrals, or expand the ranch. Slime Science lets you find rare resources, craft decorations, and create gadgets that aid your adventures across a sprawling world full of secrets and hidden treasures.

The game offers three modes, Adventure, Casual, and Rush, and encourages creativity by letting you combine slimes into more than 150 hybrids.
