Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion is the next installment in the award-winning real-time strategy series, set against a galaxy where hopes for a diplomatic end to the war have collapsed. Within the Trader Emergency Coalition, loyalists embrace isolation, doubling down on enhanced defenses to weather the rest of the war, while rebels adopt a purely militant stance, convinced that peace can only come by crushing all who oppose them, especially xenos. The Advent Unity fractures for the first time in its history, as loyalists pursue revenge against the Traders and assimilation of everyone else, while others suspect a corrupting influence has diverted the Unity from its destiny.
