SimAirport hands you control over every layer of running an airport, from cruise-altitude decisions down to the smallest ground-level detail. You can challenge yourself to build an efficient, profitable international hub in Career Mode, or set aside credit-rating worries entirely and craft an artistic masterpiece in Sandbox Mode, shaping the experience to suit how you like to play.
Building an airport means constructing your terminal, hiring staff, signing airline contracts, tweaking the daily flight schedule, and configuring standby gate availability, all while planning and designing infrastructure like bag handling systems, roads, taxiways, fuel systems, runways, gates, hangars, and service vehicles. The simulation runs deep, with every detail making an impact right down to the trash cans. Controls are kept simple and familiar for a smooth start, and a starter airport gets aircraft landing and cash flowing almost immediately.
Profitability comes from scaling up, but more passengers bring more problems: moving 2,000 travelers is easy, while avoiding bottlenecks for 10,000 or more demands entirely different tactics. Large, complex airports require smart designs involving moving walkways, multi-story structures, one-way taxiways, staggered schedules, and careful gate allocation. As an indie simulation and strategy title on PC, SimAirport proves that one size does not fit all when mastering large-scale operations.
