About Silt

Silt poster

Silt is a surreal underwater puzzle-adventure set alone in a shadowy abyss. You play a diver descending into the deep to uncover long-forgotten mysteries, and your central ability is to possess the creatures around you, using their forms to solve puzzles and push ever further into the darkness below.

The world down here has evolved into bizarre shapes, and exploration reveals strange organisms, unexplored ruins, and ancient machinery hidden beneath the water's surface. Not every encounter is peaceful. You must survive meetings with giant deep-sea goliaths, harnessing their power to awaken a long-dormant force resting at the center of the abyss. Each possession becomes both a tool and a lifeline as you navigate the crushing depths.

Much of Silt's identity comes from its art, an unsettling, monochrome vision constructed from the sketches and dark imagination of artist Mr Mead, which makes the game feel like art brought to life. The result is a harrowing journey through a haunting, hand-drawn world. As an indie adventure on PC, Silt trades combat-heavy action for atmosphere, mystery, and the eerie beauty of a deep-sea realm that never stops feeling alien.
