About Ships At Sea

Ships At Sea poster

Ships At Sea comes from Misc Games, the studio behind the popular commercial fishing franchises Fishing: Barents Sea and Fishing: North Atlantic, and this time it arrives with the multiplayer mode fans had long been asking for. Billed as the next generation of ship simulation, it broadens the experience by adding service and cargo vessels alongside commercial fishing, delivering the most requested feature from its dedicated community.

You head out into the untamable Norwegian Sea, teaming up with friends and connecting with players worldwide as you build careers across service, cargo, and fishing. The vessels themselves are highly detailed and come with new gameplay features, while a new water shader called WaveWorks, developed in cooperation with Nvidia, provides cinematic-quality ocean simulation. The buoyancy system has been completely rebuilt on a physically-based model so that ships of every size float realistically, and a dynamic weather system layers in rain, fog, lightning, and storms for deeper immersion.

A major step forward is the ability to explore authentically recreated harbours in Lofoten, Norway, where you can visit shops for tools and equipment or head to the shipyard to upgrade, maintain, and repair your fleet. As a detailed maritime simulation on PC, Ships At Sea invites you to work the seas solo or share the voyage with others.
