About Sheltered

Sheltered poster

Sheltered is a post-apocalyptic disaster management game that gives fresh, grim meaning to the phrase nuclear family. Developed by Unicube, it hands you a slim head start over the billions lost to a nuclear holocaust: a concrete underground bunker that becomes your family's home for the bleak future ahead. Before you settle in, you must gather every scrap of supplies you can on the route there, because what you carry may decide who lives.

Survival demands constant, difficult choices. You keep your family alive by rationing hardship, hunger, thirst, and fear, and the moral decisions you face daily can mean the difference between a household enduring or perishing. Claustrophobia, radiation, and mental exhaustion all press in as you cling to life inside the cramped, cold shelter, and eventually you are forced to leave its meager protection behind to scavenge in the world above.

As a deep strategy game with strong indie and RPG sensibilities, Sheltered asks a simple, haunting question: with all hope seemingly lost, how will you cope in this harsh new world? On PC, it turns the small victories, a bag of medical supplies, a loved one's relieved face, into the quiet rewards that make survival worth the struggle.
