SEASON: A letter to the future casts you as a young woman leaving her secluded village to explore the world by bike for the first time, collecting memories before a cataclysm washes everything away. It is a quest to discover a new world, one that feels unknown yet familiar, and the goal is to document, photograph and record life as you find it while you still can. This adventure focuses on exploring, recording and unravelling the strange world around you.

Each recording tool captures a different layer of that world, from sounds and music to art, architecture and the stories of characters living through pivotal moments. Peeling back these layers gradually reveals the culture, history and ecology beneath everything, and it leads you toward the big questions the game poses: what is this season, why is it ending, and what will the next one bring?

Structured as a bicycle road trip through stunning landscapes, the journey lasts roughly six to twelve hours depending on how much you linger, and this is very much a game about lingering. A compelling narrative asks you to make difficult choices that could shape how the story ends, while you capture the most important moments to preserve them for future generations. As a casual indie adventure on PC, SEASON rewards a slower, more reflective pace.
