Seafarer: The Ship Sim invites you to take the helm of a maritime career, choosing between paths, captaining a variety of ships and expanding your own fleet. You navigate a vast open world of varied landscapes, harbors and cities, all brought to life by dynamic wave simulation and changing weather conditions. This casual simulation puts the full breadth of a seafaring life within reach.

Career progression revolves around different factions, each offering their own missions, challenges and rewards. You might transport goods from harbor to harbor, serve as a firefighter on the open sea, or simply explore, and unexpected encounters await out on the water, from desperate calls for help to lost goods waiting to be salvaged. The ships themselves range from the humble charm of a small tugboat to the colossal power of an ocean-going cargo vessel, each one meticulously crafted.

How you play is up to you. Story Mode delivers a narrative spanning all the factions across several missions, while Quickplay Mode lets you jump straight into the action, and a character editor lets you create and customize your captain's appearance for a personal touch.
