About Satisfactory

Satisfactory poster

Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game that mixes construction with a dash of exploration and combat, playable alone or with friends. As an employee of FICSIT, you land on the alien planet Massage-2(AB)b and set about putting its abundant natural resources to good use, raising multi-story factories across the land and expanding wherever and however you see fit.

Automation drives everything. You lay out intricate webs of conveyor belts, run trucks and trains to distant outposts and pipe liquids where they need to go, all in the service of minimizing manual labor. The goal is a self-sustaining industrial network, whether you build it with gracious perfection or let it sprawl into glorious complexity, and the first-person perspective keeps the sheer scale of your work front and center.

Exploration rounds out the experience across a huge 30km2 world with its own fauna and creatures. Expeditions send you searching for new materials, aided by vehicles, jetpacks and jump pads, though the local wildlife means packing proper safety gear is wise. Co-op lets you tackle a factory yourself or share the joy with friends. On PC, this indie simulation delivers a deep, engineering-minded sandbox where the planet is yours to harvest.
