About ROUTINE

ROUTINE poster

ROUTINE is a first-person sci-fi horror game set on an abandoned lunar base imagined through an 80s vision of the future. What begins as curious exploration quickly turns into a fight for survival when the base falls completely silent. Your search for answers brings you face to face with an enemy convinced that you are the true threat, and as each discovery leads to deeper unknowns, the only direction left is forward. It is an atmospheric indie descent into dread, built for PC players who enjoy tense, exploratory horror.

The base itself is a place of stark contrasts, and you roam through its varied sectors, from deserted malls to decaying Living Quarters. Investigating your surroundings is essential, since uncovering crucial information lets you progress and gradually piece together the events that took place before you arrived. Full body awareness, diegetic audio and a minimal user interface all work together to create a gripping, immersive atmosphere that keeps you grounded in the unsettling environment.

Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool, known as the C.A.T., is central to survival. You rely on it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues scattered around the station. When threats close in, your options are limited: run, hide, or try to defend yourself using the C.A.T. as a last resort. With no easy way out, ROUTINE keeps the pressure high as you push deeper into the mystery of what went wrong.
