About Roguebook

Roguebook poster

Roguebook is a roguelike deckbuilder developed in partnership with Richard Garfield, the creator of Magic: The Gathering. Its premise draws on the world of Faeria, where an ancient tome said to hold every legend ever told was lost in a well of magic. Contact with that source corrupted the Book, granting it a wicked will of its own and turning it into the Roguebook. Trapped within its Book of Lore, you find that each page represents a fresh challenge to overcome.

You lead two heroes into battle, choosing from six hero pairs to begin a game. Each hero brings a collection of over 50 cards, a personal relic and a unique skill tree. The one at the front shields the hero behind, so switching positions and combining their strengths to unleash powerful combos becomes a key tactic. Battles reward careful planning, as you anticipate and queue up your actions to take down more than 40 bosses and enemies across your journey.

Deckbuilding is dynamic and never repeats itself. With over 200 cards to assemble as the game unfolds, you will never play the same deck twice. Relics add another layer, letting you upgrade cards with 30 special gems and collect 80 relics that carry extraordinary effects. The more cards you gather, the more power you wield, making Roguebook a rich strategy and RPG experience for PC players who love building and refining a deck run after run.
