About RESEARCH and DESTROY

RESEARCH and DESTROY is a turn-based action game with simultaneous co-op, played either locally or online. You take control of three brilliant scientists who research and develop strange new weapons and gadgets in order to destroy the Supernatural hordes that have all but crushed humanity. Its blend of turn-based strategy and real-time shooting gives the action a distinctive rhythm, where careful planning meets frantic execution.

The two halves of the title feed into each other. On the research side, you gain fresh insight into the Supernatural threat through battlefield vivisections, then use that knowledge to develop radical upgrades for each weird weapon and gadget. On the destroy side, you plan your approach before running and gunning your way through enemies, and because every second counts, positioning and timing matter as much as firepower.

Cooperative play sits at the heart of the experience. You can tailor your scientists' appearance and drop in and out of local or online co-op with friends at any time. The campaign has you adapting your guerrilla-science tactics to manage a campaign map while hunting down the Supernatural source, and since no two playthroughs are the same, this casual-friendly strategy game keeps its runs fresh on PC.
